Hello! My name is Lyndsay Serbus and I serve as the coordinator for the Special Education Assessment Team (SEAT Team). I am a special education teacher with licenses in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Developmental and/or Cognitive Disabilities, Emotional and/or Behavioral Disabilities, and Academic and Behavioral Specialist.  This year marks my fourth year serving on the Special Education Assessment team, however, I have been a special education teacher for the district for 7 years. During the assessment process, I meet with parents and teachers to complete forms and checklists, assess students academic strengths and weaknesses, determine post secondary needs, and assist with behavior assessments. I currently serve students birth through age 21.

I am proud to be a 2006 Redwood Valley High School graduate and happy to be serving my home town community. After completing high school, I attended Alexandria Technical College and received my A.S degree in Child Development. I then went on to attend Southwest Minnesota State University and completed my B.S degree in Early Childhood Education with a Minor in Special Education. The following year, I received my M.S in Special Education.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at or 507-644-8115.
