Photo of Andrea IversonMy name is Andrea Iverson and I am the Student Accountability Advocate for Redwood Area Schools. I work with students of all ages in our district, from preschool through 12th grade.

My role in the district is to assist students and families to improve attendance and avoid having chronic attendance issues. I can meet with students and families at school, at home or in the community. I am able to connect students with resources they may need to assist in improving their attendance. Links to our community resources can be found on this page by clicking on the resources tab on the left side. I am available to refer students and/or families to these resources and answer any questions about these resources as well.

My education and experience are in Social Work and Psychology. I have been a social worker since 2008. I started working with the district in the Fall of 2017. I am originally from Redwood Falls and graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 2004. I love this community and am so happy to call it home!

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me at or at 507-644-8207. Please note that I do work throughout the summer, but am not in my office every day checking my voicemail. If you need to contact me during summer, the best way to do this would be through e-mail.
