We made it through Distance Learning and summer has begun! I am SO proud of all of the students, parents, and staff in our district. It was not what any of us had planned, but we made the most out of it. I hope you all have a fun and relaxing summer. If you need anything during summer, the best way to reach me is by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, as I will not be checking the voicemail on my school phone. I look forward to seeing you all in the fall!
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!!
My name is Andrea Iverson and I am the Student Accountability Advocate for Redwood Area Schools. I work with students from preschool through 12th grade.
My role in the district is to assist students and families to improve attendance and avoid having chronic attendance issues. I can meet with students and families at school, at home or in the community. I am able to connect students with resources they may need to assist in improving their attendance. Links to our community resources can be found on this page by clicking on the resources tab on the left side. I am available to refer students and/or families to these resources and answer any questions about these resources as well.
My education and experience are in Social Work and Psychology. I have been a social worker since 2008. I started working with the district in the Fall of 2017. I am originally from Redwood Falls and graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 2004. I love this community and am so happy to call it home!
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me at email@example.com or at 507-644-8207.
