Last Friday, 12 members of Redwood Valley DECA participated in the DECA conference held at the RACC. They connected with college students from 7 schools, attended workshops on marketing, resumes, interviews, and entrepreneurship, and participated in a team challenge where they worked with members of other schools to solve a business problem.
All of our students did an awesome job getting out of their comfort zone and trying something new. In addition, Michael Perkins and Ming Lin were on the 2nd and 3rd place teams, coming home with a medal for their efforts.

Shoutout to longtime Redwood Valley educator Dave Madsen on reffing his final Football game at the State Tournament. He has reffed Football for 47 years!

Thursday, Nov. 21st - 5th grade Band 6:00pm and 6th grade Band 7:00pm

Another outstanding RVHS Band Concert last night. In addition to hearing our wonderful band perform, the SMSU Jazz Band and Tom Scott played for the crowd. Tom Scott is a three time Grammy winner who has played with artists like George Harrison of the Beatles, and Frank Sinatra, and wrote the theme songs for Family Ties and Starsky and Hutch. Excellent concert that is one to be memorable for years. Thanks to Mr. Berggren and the entire band for the performance, along with SMSU and Tom Scott.
