9th grade students in Mr. Maddock's Freshman Academy class were exploring careers in the agricultural field today. Very impressive to see the information they were finding on various careers. Great job RVHS!
Students in Mrs. Zeug's Freshman Academy class were learning about Health Insurance, including terms such as deductible, copay, premium, and out-of-pocket maximum. Great lesson on a topic that is not well understood by many adults, and the 9th graders were doing amazing.
RVHS students in Mr. Hegg's Computer Drawing class were learning about maintenance on a Plasma Cutter today. Awesome lesson!

If you are planning to park directly at Yankton Trail Park, there is a $10 parking cost that must be paid with cash. They ask that anyone who parks outside of Yankton Trails to cross at the crosswalk at the intersection of 57th St and Western Ave instead of run across 57th St due to the high levels of traffic that could be there.

Welcome back to school from RVHS Principal Mr. Jorgenson and RVMS Principal Mr. Lindahl! We are excited for another great school year!
Thanks to all RVHS students and families for attending our Back to School Night on August 27. We had 75% of our students pick up schedules that night, which is amazing! School starts on Tuesday, September 2 and we look forward to seeing all students and working with families throughout the school year.
