Due to generous donations and grants, Redwood Valley High School was able to purchase an Anatomage Table. This device is used for 3D anatomy study and virtual dissection. It is being used at many of the world's leading medical schools and colleges. To see more of what experiences this device can provide for our students, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9cx4nGXB0w.

Attention Juniors & Seniors!
This school year RVHS, in partnership with Monarch Healthcare Management, will be offering a NEW two-credit course. For those interested and accepted, in the Fall of 2024, students will be enrolled in an Evening CNA course held at River Valley Health & Rehabilitation. In the Spring of 2025, students will then be enrolled in Career Mentorship. This is a course that allows RVHS students to participate in paid internships. For this course, students can intern at a Monarch facility during their class period, after school, or on weekends.
This will allow students to "take off" two credits during the school day.
How do I participate?
1) Connect with Mrs. Carlson to complete an application for the CNA course and the Career Mentoring Program
2) Interview and hired " with Monarch/ River Valley
Please let me know if you are interested or if you have any additional questions,
Ally

This is how we grow together! Thank you to Bayer Fund for awarding us a$10,000 grant. Together, we’ll continue to see the communities that we support, and our commitment to them, flourish. This money will go towards purchasing an Antomage Table, providing students in our Health classes a chance to explore anatomy from the early stages of childbirth to the effects of various diseases on the aging human body. Thank you to Bayer Fund for continuing to further our student's learning! See the press release at Bayer Fund- RVHS Anatomage Table.

Summer Food Program

Food for Living 2 students were able to hear from Scotty Biggs Barbeque food truck in the midst of making their own food trucks. Students prepared and served one food item from their menu to guest judges. It is always fun to see students creativity come to life in their designing and food preparation.
