Students in Mr. Berggren's History of Rock and Roll class learned about Hard Rock music from the band Leaving Hope. Students were able to talk with band members about their music and enjoy a "mini" concert.
The Redwood Valley tuba players took part in the SMSU Tuba Christmas!

Drone Technology students are learning how drones are currently used in agriculture as well as new and emerging technologies. Thank you to Next Gen Ag and Redwood Alumni Andrew Lueck and Jenna Whitmore for stopping in today!
Last week RVHS students had the opportunity to see The Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theater. Students had front-row seats to the experience and got the chance to meet some of the actors after the show.
Students in Kaille Heltemes's Foods for Living class competed in a Chopped Kitchen Challenge using MREs from the National Guard. Groups were tasked with recreating a meal and serving it to judges. Judges included representatives from that National Guard, including Zoey Salvador, '21 alumni and Sergeant in the National Guard.
Attention 10th & 11th graders! An informational meeting about the EF Tour through Europe will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 7:30 pm in the HS Commons.

Mrs. Siegel and Ms. Holman’s class teamed up Underdog CrossFit and participated in “stepping for vets” to raise money for Redwood County Veterans. They raised $225!

Students in Foods for Living made a Thanksgiving feast before the break and shared it family style. Each group was in charge of making a dish to share.
You've Been Candy Caned!
Help support the Redwood Valley High School Student Council this year while having a little candy cane fun! Make a donation and use the attached form to send a collection of candy canes to your friends, family members, or neighbors' front yard! The recipient will then have the opportunity to choose the next house (by paying a minimum donation fee of $10). The recipient is not required to make a donation. The candy canes will be moved to the next house after 2 days regardless of a donation.

Protect your lawn from the candy canes! We now offer candy cane insurance for a minimum donation fee of $15. Fill out the attached form to protect your home.

Miss Tews' 1st grade class learned all about Italy today from Marta Girardello who is a foreign exchange student at RVHS. Marta is staying with the Lueck family and her host brother is in the class.
