Why is Redwood Area School District pursuing a referendum now?
✔️ Our youngest cardinals need a quality education space
✔️ This plan is purposely timed with tax impact in mind
✔️ The need for a new elementary school is real and not going away
Check out https://www.redwoodareaschools.com/page/bond-2023 more information about the referendum.

Redwood Valley High School's One Act Play has been busy to perform "Common Ground." Students will experience the performance on Wednesday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m. Wonderful job students!

Thank you to the RVHS Boys Basketball Team who visited Reede Gray Elementary this week! The little and big kids were all smiles!

Today will be an E-Learning Day at RVHS. For the E-Learning Plan, go to this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vIXx-cdkYtH2XAyAB4LbLoXZWZlBl4Oy/view?usp=sharing. The only change is that today, due to a planned teacher workday, teachers will only be available from 10:00-12:00 p.m. for student assistance. All E-Learning work needs to be completed by 3:00 p.m. On the last E-Learning Day, we had 75% of students complete work for all classes, and 87% of students complete all work, except 1 class. Students should check Schoology at 10:00 a.m. today for assignments. I would like to see 100% of students complete all of their E-Learning today! Please do what you can to make this happen!

Our district website now includes important information on the bond referendum being held April 11th. Come learn all you can about the need and cost of the proposed plan for our district!

In Foods for Living, students participated in a Cupcake Wars challenge, working to create a unique cupcake and cupcake display. Students in Period 1 created cupcakes surrounding a Disney Theme, and students in Period 2 create cupcakes around a theme of different holidays. Great job Ms. Heltemes and Students! (Post 4 of 4).

In Mr. Hegg's Introduction to Woods class, students were constructing individual projects using a set of plans, as well as demonstrating proper safety using hand and power tools. I was very impressed with the work ethic, pride, and dedication students were showing in their work. Great job RVHS students!

Congratulations to our 1/20/2023 Reede Gray Cardinal Code Shoutouts this week. We continue to practice Perseverance. Perseverance is what helps us learn new things and reach our goals.
